From 2024-2025, I had the opportunity to be mentored by artist and director, Paul Briggs. Over the course of my mentorship, I was trained to develop an animated short film rooted in the motivations of a central character. This training was then culminated into Project A.B.E.D
What is Project A.B.E.D?
Project A.B.E.D is a short horror film concept set in a science fiction world. It follows an Analysis Bot of Extraterrestrial Discovery (or A.B.E.D.) as it accompanies a crew of cosmic poachers on a journey through a small planet. On this journey, A.B.E.D. is tasked with collecting rare samples for the crew to sell but, when a crew member unknowingly collects the egg of a predator species, A.B.E.D.’s loyalty shifts from the crew it arrived with to the pack of alien creatures that hunt them.
